Branxton Junior Golf clinics run every Tuesday during daylight saving (October-April). We meet at 4:15pm ready to start by 4:30pm. Children from 4 to 18 are welcome to come along and join in.We have a group of volunteers who take the children through the basic swings in golf putting, chipping and full swing. Rules and etiquette are also discussed during each session. Each session lasts about 20-25 minutes and the clinics finish no later than 6 o’clock. For the more experienced golfers we also offer holes to play during the clinic times to improve their course management and shot making skills.

We also offer Family days during the cooler months on Sunday afternoons, once each month starting around 1:30pm. These days are organised away from social groups so we don’t interfere with anyone’s golfing adventures. We encourage parents to join in and have a go. You don’t need any equipment (but please bring your clubs if you have them), just a positive attitude and a bit of energy. You can choose to play 3, 5, 7 or 9 holes depending on your children’s age and ability. The cost is $5 per child and $10 per family which includes golf, a sausage sandwich, a drink chips and a gift for every player.

We have a Junior Open event held each April school holidays (2016 dates Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th April). This event attracts sponsorship of around $2500 across all divisions. We would love more young ladies to attend so they can join in the great prizes and the fun. Our sponsors are UTS Rail and Richard Crooks and Partners who are committed to junior golf at Branxton.

We love donations, particularly pre-loved golf balls. If you have any please give them to our Professional and he will ensure their safe delivery to the junior golfers.

Junior membership is only around $50 for the entire year and we provide a strong and entertaining program for the junior golfers to better themselves. We have a great history of junior golfers doing well as they get into the higher grades and representing in Pennants and District events. Please consider golf for your children. It is a lifelong sport and a great ways to make friends and stay healthy.
